Why we use Waterborne Finish...

• Almost completely benign

• Safe to apply & easy to repair

• 90% cured in 24 hours / 100% in 2 weeks

• Outperforms all other finishes with regard to durability

• 3 natural wood tones to choose from

• Future maintenance coats can be performed with far less disruption to the home

Why we do not use Swedish Finish

• Highly toxic!  Gases off formaldehyde & carbon monoxide until fully cured (90 days)

• Has been banned from use in several states by the E.P.A. because of it's high V.O.C. content and the toxic waste associated with it's use

• Application requires vacating the house, extinguishing all pilot lights and removal of all pets/plants/dry food goods

• Only 70% cured after 3 days / 100% after 3 months

• Susceptible to Ultra Violet (U.V.) rays, ambering significantly with exposure to direct sunlight, making it problematic for use of area rugs or to perform touch ups or spot repairs
